Established in 1992, when the first bases of Romanian commercial transport were built, Midia International Port was created as a pillar of maritime activity and maritime transport in the Black Sea area. Located in the southeast of Romania, with direct access to the Black Sea and the Danube-Black Sea Canal, the port is currently operated by Midia International S.A., a joint-stock company with 100% Romanian capital, through a lease contract with validity until 2051 and a terminal with an area of over 20 hectares in the port of Midia Navodari
One of the main advantages of Midia port is its excellent location, right in the middle of the Romanian coast of the Black Sea, between Ukraine and Bulgaria. The excellent position of the port and the services offered have turned it into the main shipping gates for Romania and Eastern Europe in the Black Sea, but also from the Black Sea to Western Europe and beyond.
In order to meet the needs of customers and partners, starting from October 2011, Midia port own customs space within the port, together with a specialized warehouse of 50,000 m2, allowing greater efficiency of transit and issuing of documents required for the enter and exit of goods

The Midia International Terminal was built to give the space and capacity to clients that they need to both load and unload goods coming from all corners of the world. With an annual operational capacity of over 300 vessels, on four berths.
As a port operator, the port of Midia International located on berths no. 5, 6, 7 and 8 of Midia Navodari, all equipped with a depth of 9 meters, of which an operational draft of a maximum of 8.4 meters. The total length of the quays is 340 meters, all fully operational, where four vessels can be operated at the same time
Storage The Midia International Terminal covers a total port area of 205000 m2, of which 55000 m2 is concrete platform and 70000 m2 is paved platform. From the surface of the paved platforms, 50000 m2 are the specific customs warehouse, Type A, for any customs requirements that the customers have.
The Midia International Port Terminal is fenced and has continuous security and surveillance and video surveillance
The terminal is directly connected to the railway (2 railway lines), with separate entry-exit roads for trucks in order to avoid any problem / congestion between road transport and rail transport.

Below are the quantities and types of goods operated through the Midia Terminal by Midia International SA. There is a 36.50% increase in goods traffic in 2021 fiscal year compared to 2020 fiscal year
Also, in the first 7 months of 2022, 86% of the traffic from the previous year was realized, the current forecasts are at a quantity of 650k tons operated throug 2022, with approx. 37% more than 2021, maintaining the upward trend from 2021 vs 2022.
Practically, in the last 2 fiscal years, the amount of goods operated by Midia International SA is on a clear upward trend, and with the construction of the 9 warehouses, the bitumen terminal, the cement terminal and other contracts that will be signed, described below revenue forecast, shows forecasts at 1.3 million tons operated / year
CN APMC has the obligation to provide terminals and other users of the port with electricity, telecommunications, potable water, sewage and heating, and gas. For this reason, in the Port of Constanţa there is a network of utilities to ensure their safe and constant supply. Likewise, the drainage of rainwater from the port area and its roads, as well as water for extinguishing fires, are the responsibility of CN APMC. For this reason, Constanța Port owns, maintains and uses this utility network, including the technical equipment and related meters to ensure safe and constant supply. Supplying with electricity: Constanta Port is connected in many points to the local high-voltage network. CN APMC provides electric energy to terminal operators. For this purpose CN APMC operates the local medium voltage network in the port and the corresponding transformer station, as well as switchboards. Potable water supply: The port of Constanta has two different sources of potable water supply, namely an autonomous one that uses water from wells and a connection to the municipal network SC R.A.J.A. SA Constanta. The water supply of the two above-mentioned sources is carried out from - Autonomous supply source: In the old port there are two wells owned by the Port of Constanta and used for removing water. These wells were built in 2008 and 2009, with a depth of 200 m and an average capacity of 55 m³/h each. The total capacity of both wells can almost completely cover the needs of the entire port. - Supply from the public networks of SC R.A.J.A. SA: Direct connection to the municipal network.
